Greetings Maplewood Heights Families from Ms. Prince and Mr. Z!
I wanted to make sure you saw the message from Superintendent Pattenaude that was sent to families and placed on social media. If you have not had the chance to watch it, you can see it here. Although we do not have all the answers to your many questions now, we will be working together to support you and your families during this school closure.
Here is our updated information since last week. This email is meant to provide you and your family resources and general information.
Updated In-Home Learning Activities
Every Friday teachers will post daily lessons/activities on our school’s In Home Learning Site for the following week. Visit the In Home Learning Site and click on your child’s grade level for the daily activities. There are also activities provided by our Music and PE Teachers, Librarian, English Language Teachers, and Learning Assistance Program (LAP) Teachers.
Our Special Education Teachers, Occupational/Physical Therapists (OT/PT) and Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) are reaching out to families to discuss how they will be supporting our students with disabilities during this school closure.
These provided lessons/activities are designed to help students meet grade level standards. We highly recommend that you take advantage of these resources and reach out to teachers if you need support as you help your children engage in learning.
